Let's Talk About My Country, The Philippines

I have travelled some countries and have seen 90% of mine. Everywhere I go, I meet a lot of fellow travelers. One question that most travelers ask me is "of all the countries you've been to, which is your favorite?". A simple question needs a simple answer, the Philippines of course! I was born and raised in the Philippines and would not trade my country for anything. This is probably why I would choose to die here.

The Philippines used to have 7,107 islands, but since they continuously discover new ones, we now have 7,641. Which means there are virgin islands that you can visit. With diverse places to see, you can choose your own adventure. Depending on what you want to do, there are places to go to which suits your personality. We have mountains, seas, islands, and if you like staying in a busy city, I suggest the metro. You can party in Boracay while being amazed by the wonderful white sand beach, island hop in Palawan, dive in Batangas, trek the volcano in Taal, surf in La Union or Siargao, walk the rice terraces in Ifugao, and so much more.

Food and drinks you will find ANYWHERE. From high end restaurants and bars to reasonably priced establishments. Street food is also abundant. If your stomach can take it, go on a SeeFood diet when you're here. There are several cuisines to choose from as well, Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Middle Eastern, Indian, and a lot more. But of course, my personal favorite is Filipino!!!
